About Artisan Hub
Artisan Hub is a service made available by Artisan (an Australian based Platinum Tier Salesforce Consulting Partner) for the global community of Certified Salesforce Professionals. Artisan Hub seeks to encourage ongoing education and certification related to Salesforce.
Each Salesforce Certified Professional tracked by Artisan Hub is assigned a Total Point Score based on their current certificates and how long these have been held. This score is used to construct a leaderboard for each country, state/province and city, and across the globe. Artisan Hub also tracks the number of each type of credential across these geographic dimensions.
Did you realise there are 4 people being tracked by Artisan Hub who have 29 current certificates? Do you know who are the leaders in your country/state/city based on Artisan Hub points score? How do you measure up against your local peers? Find out by getting your ranking report by email (see below).
How is the Total Point Score Calculated?
Each credential is assigned a point value based on the type of credential:
- Consultant = 4
- Specialist = 2
- Developer/Advanced Developer = 3/5
- Architect Designers = 3
- Architect = 10
- Admin/Advanced Admin = 3/3
- Accreditations = 1
- Expired Credentials = 0
Each certificate is awarded a point score based on the credential point score multiplied by how many years the certificate has been held. For example, a Certified Administrator who has been certified for 2 years would have a point score of 6 (2 x 3).
Using this formula every Certified Professional is assigned a total score which is re-calculated daily.
The Total Points Formula now applies Two-Year Rule
In 2020 the total points formula was revised so the total stops incrementing two years after a Certified Professional’s last exam date. This means a Certified Professional must pass an exam at least every two years if they want their points score to keep growing and the position relative to their peers maintained. The intent of this change is to encourage and reward ongoing learning.
How is the Ranking Calculated?
The global and regional ranking is calculated by ordering all Certified Professionals within each geographic area based on total score. Where multiple Certified Professionals have the same total score, the person certified first gets the higher rank.
Make sure your geographical information is correct in Web Assessor:
If you want a higher rank then a) pass more certificates b) pass at least one certificate every two years and c) make sure your certificates stay current!
When certificates expire because release/maintenance exams are not passed or because the credential is discontinued by Salesforce the point value drops to zero within the Artisan Hub calculations.
